Pastoral and well-being
Is there something we can help you with?
Our School mission statement says that Studley Green Primary School is a place ‘where children feel safe, loved and supported as they grow and develop into confident and successful individuals’ and we all work together as a community to make sure this is true for everyone.
However,, there are times when we might not feel safe, loved and supported, and we might not know who we can talk to about this. At Studley Green Primary School we care about everyone and if there is something that is worrying you or making you feel sad, you can find lots of people who will listen and want to help.
You can talk to Mr Edy-Berry, Mr Orr, Mrs Inman or your classroom staff, to Mrs Vinicombe-Taylor. Mrs Brown, Ms Andrews, Mrs Parrish, or to the staff out with you at playtime. In fact, you will find lots of listening ears at Studley Green Primary School and no problem is too big or too small. There are lots of ways we can help you.
Colour Monsters.
These are our Colour Monsters, they help us know how we are feeling. It is great to see so many of you who are home learning telling us how you are feeling and how you are getting on when you register in the mornings. Remember that some of the colour monster feelings are not helpful, talk to someone if you are feeling very blue or very grey or very red!
The Triune Brain
This video is a simple guide to how our brain works when there is something scary or threatening that we have to face. It helps to explain why children sometimes react and behave in flight, fight and freeze mode.
